Protect your marketing tools

Be in control of your business assets to future-protect your accounts, access and image.

It is great to have friends, family, or staff help you with the more technical sides of your business that you may not understand.

Ensure you remain in control:

  1. Know your passwords to all accounts.
  2. Ensure password resets and 2-factor authentication are accessible by using your own email address and contact numbers for recovery.
  3. Ensure you can revoke permissions at any time if the unthinkable happens.
  4. Don’t allow your valuable Facebook business page to be set up on someone else’s Facebook account.
  5. Should you choose to have a professional take care of your website, do your research, check their reviews, and, if possible, ensure you can take back control if needed.

Starting a business can be hard work, and only a business owner can appreciate just how hard. Protect your marketing tools just as you would your real ones.
