COS Business Solutions is a registered BAS Agent, with industry memberships in the Australian Bookkeepers Network and the Australian Payroll Association. A family business
Founded in 2004 as Chapman Office Services, we commenced as a Bookkeeping and Administration service in Bundaberg. In the early days, Kim concentrated more on ‘Consulting, Training and BAS Services’, as her love of helping people and her passion for problem-solving evolved.
In 2017, with family members joining the team, we rebranded as COS Business Solutions and expanded our bookkeeping services under Rebecca’s management. Today, we deliver a comprehensive suite of support, from administration and bookkeeping to BAS preparation, accounting software solutions, and more.
In 2009, Kim established an office at Commerce North, where COS Business Solutions operated for more than 11 years. In 2021, we moved to our current location at 32 Takalvan Street, Svensson Heights, Bundaberg, offering clients convenient ground-floor access (opposite Hungry Jacks).

Our commitment
In the rapidly changing landscape of Bookkeeping, our team at COS Business Solutions are constantly learning and strive to maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancing technologies and changing legislation.
The introduction of the Tax Agent Services Act 2009 set professional and ethical standards governing the Bookkeeping Industry. To continue to operate as we were, we were required to gain formal qualifications and register as a BAS Agent. With both Rebecca and Kim registered as BAS Agents, today our services are delivered in accordance with the regulatory framework set by the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB), ensuring full compliance and professional integrity.
Holding certifications in Xero, MYOB, and Reckon has enabled us to significantly broaden the scope and depth of our services. These accreditations not only validate our technical proficiency across each platform but also grant us access to exclusive training, product updates, and support resources directly from the software providers. This means we stay ahead of industry changes, understand platform-specific features in detail, and can offer tailored solutions that align with each client’s preferred system.
